Once LDS temples are dedicated, they are used by church members for sacred purposes and ceremonies. A new Salt Lake Temple scale model exhibit "will provide the public with a glimpse of the interior and a feeling of the Spirit that is present there," Elder Hinckley added.

The south and east exterior walls of the model have been cut away, allowing replicated views of many of the temple's rooms, such as the large assembly hall, areas where the First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve meet regularly, the baptistry and other ordinance rooms.

The model is intricately detailed, with paintings, furniture and even working chandeliers and lamps imitating what is found inside the Salt Lake Temple.

We went to work at an orphanage in Mexico for a we as part of Caleb's Eagle Project.  The group we went down with was organized by A Child's Hope Foundation.  Here are some pictures from our trip.

The mission of the Food & Care Coalition is to alleviate hunger and diminish the plights of poverty for those who enter our doors. Our primary objectives include finding suitable housing, teaching financial accountability, facilitating an elevation in personal morals and values, and helping each patron achieve their full potential.

The new junior high in Salem, Utah located at approximately 800 North and Main will be named Salem Junior High. With the wide variety of names that were submitted, the majority proposed Salem Junior High.

We are pleased to announce that we are going to have as our mascot, the Spartans!

We just got back from our three day ride through Utah and Colorado.  It was really fun.  Here are the photos:
