Android, Galaxy Tab
I just got my Galaxy Note 7 running Android 6 from Verizon and after a day I noticed I the favoritescontacts are missing from the phone dialer. Now the only two choices are Recent and Contacts.

I have upgraded to a Galaxy s4,
1. Swipe down from the top of the phone to open the notification screen. Across the top of this screen are on/off icons for many of the features, for example to toggle Bluetooth, GPS, Sound, Screen rotation, Power saving, Airplane mode, Driving mode, Sync (you can scroll right to see the rest) you just hit the button. One button that I feel is missing here is the WiFi button (thanks to Verizion) that is on my other devices.

Items I have found specific to the 10.1 are listed below.

After using a prototype Galaxy Tab I wanted one. Now that I have owned one for two weeks (actually it is all I had while on vacation for a week), I thought it would be good to review what I like and don't like about the Galaxy Tab. What I have been looking for is a replacement for my laptop which I still need to use because of a list of things the Iphone is not up to doing.
News: Samsung Galaxy S III phone is on sale now for all 5 US carriers, I have pre-ordered mine and will soon have tips for it as well.
I bought my wife a Galaxy 10.1 WiFi for home use, but for out on the town my 7 inch with 3G service is the way to go. I find I use about 300 MB per month over the 3G the rest is WiFi at home or work. Check out the Galaxy 10.1 Tips page.
I bought a Verizon Samsung Galaxy Tab on the first day they went on sale, and the next morning I left on a one week vacation with only the Tab, no laptop. Here are some tips and tricks and other things I have learned:
